Motoren Technik Mayer also known as MTM, a well known car tuner from Germany has released its latest modified Audi R8. The MTM Audi R8 aluminum body is painted in “Porsche 2D8” green while all the four black brake callipers and the black fuel cap comes with a green “R8” nameplate.
The car is fitted with “MTM forged” nameplate, ultra-light MTM Bimoto light alloy wheels measuring at 9×20 and 11×20 inches. For the interior, the MTM R8 features MTM steering wheel, “Quattro” nameplate on the glove department flap and green gear-shift with “R8” logo. To give the supercar a distinctive R8 appearance, the area behind the doors measuring at 12 inches is painted in glossy black. At the exterior, the MTM Audi R8 features new aerodynamic package which consists of carbon fiber front splitter painted green on top and matt black on the bottom and green varnished carbon fiber side skirts and rear diffuser. The R8 also comes with MTM Lift-up-System which elevates the front or rear axle by 40 mm to avoid hitting the ground on road bumps or garage exits.
The car is fitted with MTM compressor which helps to increase the performance of the 420 hp (313 kW) 4.2-liter V8 engine up to 560 hp (418 kW). The maximum torque has also increases by 34% from 430 to 580 Nm. MTM can also provide a V10 engine for the Audi R8 and just by exchanging the motor electronics, the performance of the V10 engine increases from 520 hp (388 kW) to 560 hp (418 kW) as well. MTM also equipped the R8 with a new exhaust system with valve control which leads into four black ceramic-coated end pipes. The re-engineered side blades provide the necessary air supply from behind the doors right into the middle engine.
