BMW will increase U.S. production

BMW will increase U.S. production   The BMW U.S. represents the largest market in the world for BMW vehicles, but the cost and import taxes and transportation are increasing recently. Due to the loss in value of the dollar BMW, the German company is forced to buy raw materials more and more construction in the United States. Its only manufactured in Spartanburg, S.C. produces about BMW 140,000 vehicles annually, but Norba Reithofer, chairman of BMW, announced this week that its U.S. production will increase almost 43% to BMW 200,000 vehicles annually by 2010. Among these vehicles also see new BMW X6 SUV, which will start U.S. production in Spartanburg in BMW 2008.
