Porsche Cayenne GTS Porsche Design Edition 3

Porsche is introducing another model to the Cayenne range of SUVs. The Cayenne GTS Porsche Design Edition 3 features a list of added styling and performance pieces. Powering the vehicle is a 4.8-litre V8 engine which is mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic S gearbox. The engine makes a sweet 405bhp (302kW). This will accelerate the car from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and give it a top end of 156mph (251km/h).

Using the Cayenne GTS as a base, the folks over at Porsche Design tastefully modded the SUV model beginning with the choice of the paintwork color, Lava Grey Metallic that is combined with pin stripes along the side and the bonnet of the vehicle and a set of 21-inch SportPlus alloy wheels in black.

The exterior appearance is rounded off by bi-xenon headlights, dark privacy glazing to the rear of the B-pillar, and the 'Cayenne GTS' model designation in black with a red "S" at the rear. An extended roof spoiler with a double wing profile is also available as a no-cost option.

Interior features are headrests embossed with the Porsche logo, electrically-adjustable sports seats with side lumber support, a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and some bits which are finished in Alcantara. A 14 speaker Bose sound system with 410W helps to make the interior a more pleasant place. Porsche even throws in a Porsche Design Chronograph watch plus a travel bag set.

Like the preceding Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 and Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2, every Cayenne GTS Porsche Design 3 comes with a set of Porsche Design accessories that include a chronograph watch and a four-piece luggage set bearing the 'Porsche Design Edition 3' label.

UK and Ireland can buy their special edition GTS Porsche Design Edition 3 for £64,753. Germany will launch at the end of May at €94,344 including VAT while greater Europe will have to pay €79,100 for the car including the chronograph watch and the case set.
