Germany design firm, Unique Sportcars has released their first design concept after 11 months of design and development known as the Calavera. The Calavera is based on the Ferrari F430 and was designed in collaboration with Ferrari tuning specialist Novitec Rosso and Airbrush Artist Knud Tiroch. Only 11 units will be produced.
For the exterior, the Ferrari Calavera features daytime running lights and illuminated engine compartment while the interior embroidered seats and a modified, extended middle console.
The Unique Sportcars Novitec Rosso Ferrari F430 Calavera is powered by the Novitec Rosso twin-supercharged 4.3-liter, eight-cylinder, four-valve engine to produce 707 hp (520 kW) and 712 Nm of torque. The supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, to 200 km/h in 10.5 seconds and 300 km/h in 29.9 seconds with the top speed of 315 km/h to 348 km/h.
The Ferrari F430 Calavera stands on 20-inch three-piece Novitec Rosso NF3 double-spoke wheels measuring at 8.5Jx20” at the front and 12Jx20” at the rear axle wrapped with 235/30 ZR 20 and 325/25 ZR 20 high-performance Pirelli tires.
Novitec Rosso also supplied its front spoiler developed in the wind tunnel which is attached to the underside of the production front apron. The Calavera is fitted with Novitec Rosso sport suspension for Ferrari optimized for everyday use. The front suspension can be raised by 40 mm at the push of a button to safely navigate past speed bumps and once the car reaches 80 km/h, the suspension automatically lowers itself to normal position, about 35 mm lower than the production car.
To reduce body roll and provide even more direct turn-in, the Calavera is fitted with Novitec Rosso sport stabilizers.
