2010 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

BRABUS a Mercedes Benz tuner from Germany has unveiled its extensive tuning package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe which increases the engine displacement from 5.5 to 6.1 liters. The 2010 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe model E 500 (US: E550) is powered by the BRABUS 6.1-liter, four-valve V8 engine to produce 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and a maximum torque of 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) at just 3,100 rpm. The car now able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with the top speed of 315 km/h.

The increase of displacement package is priced at 29,000 Euros which also comes with the installation of a billet crankshaft with longer stroke and larger pistons, precision-machined four-valve cylinder heads and fitted with custom camshafts. The new BRABUS sport exhaust system with high-performance metal catalysts and specially programmed ECU also contribute to the power increase.

BRABUS also offer its ECO PowerXtra kits for the turbodiesel models and D4 tuning kit for the E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY. The D4 tuning kit costs 1,390 Euros that increases the power output from the standard 204 hp (201 bhp) / 150 kW to 235 hp (232 bhp) / 173 kW and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of maximum torque. The E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY V6 turbodiesel engine fitted with BRABUS PowerXtra D6 (III) module produces 272 hp (268 bhp) / 200 kW and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of peak torque.

All engines use ARAL high-performance motor oil as its lubricant and like all BRABUS components they come with one-of-a-kind BRABUS Tuning Warranty of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers or 62,000 miles. BRABUS also offer its stainless steel quad sport exhaust system for all the new E-Class models.

The BRABUS E-Class Coupe also comes with a new aerodynamic package which is manufactured from Pur-R-Rim in OEM quality. The package consists of BRABUS front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights, BRABUS aluminum front sport quarter panels with integrated clear-coated carbon-fiber inserts, new rocker panels with LED entrance lights integrated into their undersides or a version with integrated illuminated BRABUS logo, BRABUS rear apron featuring a centrally mounted reflector and custom-tailored cutouts on either side for the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sport exhaust system.

The 2010 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe stands on one-piece or multi-piece 17 – 20 inches BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels. The largest tire/wheel combination is the BRABUS Monoblock VI, E, Q or S wheels in size 9Jx20 on the front axle and in size 9.5Jx20 in the rear axle wrapped with Pirelli and YOKOHAMA 235/30 ZR 20 in the front and 265/25 ZR 20 at the rear. The suspension system has also been upgraded with BRABUS suspension system starting with lowering springs package to a complete height-adjustable coilover sport suspension system.

BRABUS uses high-performance brake system which consist of 6-piston aluminum fixed callipers and 360 mm (14.2-inch) vented and cross-drilled discs at the front and 4-piston aluminum fixed callipers at the rear.

The interior modifications are based on customers’ request which include stainless-steel scuff plated with illuminated BRABUS logo, an ergonomically shaped BRABUS sport steering wheel and an interior trim made from soft yet durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.
