Recently, Mitsubishi has released new range of the Japanese-Spec Lancer Evolution X. The new Japanese spec are the GSR, GSR Premium and the RS.All the models are powered by a more powerful engine that could produce 296 hp (221 kW) and 311 lb-ft (421 Nm) of torque. The previous model comes with 276 hp (206 kW). The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR Premium is equipped with 5-speed manual gearbox or Twin-Clutch SST (Sport Shift Transmission). The Evo X GSR Premium features new 18-inch BBS alloy wheels, body-colored vents, front fog lights and new side sills.
For the interior, the GSR Premium comes with Recaro leather seats, a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate stereo system and a 30GB hard-drive and satellite navigation system. The suspension system has been upgraded which consists of Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs. The car is also equipped with Brembo sport pads. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR Premium is priced at 4,798,500 Yen for the 5-speed manual transmission version and 5,050,000 Yen for the Twin-Clutch SST version.
