Porsche Panamera image leak out

News from AutoTelegraaf, here is the official picture of the Porsche Panamera, showing the new four-door "coupe" in all its oddly proportioned glory. The car is 4968mm long, 1920mm wide and 1420mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2926mm. The car weight around 2 ton. The most striking detail on the profile shot is the indentations leading from the front fenders, aft of the wheels, into the doors, but the jury is still out on the Panamera's bulbous back end. There are 3 engines that powered the car and buyers can choose from either the lower hp engine which is 3.6 liter V6 that capable to produce 300hp, a 400hp 4.8 liter V8 engine from the Panamera S or the Panamera Turbo engine that are 4.8 liter V8 but come with a turbocharger..

An electronic air suspension is part of the package, along with an LSD, and power can be sent to either the rear wheels, or all four, depending on the trim level. Power will be sent to Porsche's new PDK dual-clutch gearbox and although a diesel model has been ruled out, a V6-hybrid variant with 350 hp will come along at a later date

Porsche Panamera Sedan official photo shot

The Panamera Online Magazine is offering a wide range of information all about the latest member of the Porsche family at www.porsche.com/panamera – including some videos on the test drive for the prototype model.mailing campaign directly addressing potential customers.

The cryptic photo shows that the four-door, four seat Panamera features a further evolution of Porsche's characteristic family face with tear-shaped headlamps and a pair of LED day time running lights incorporating the turn indicators.

The Panamera sedan will be offered initially with naturally aspirated and turbocharged V8 engines. Besides that, a smaller V6 gasoline unit. Porsche will also introduce a Panamera Hybrid by fearing a full-hybrid design where the hybrid module (clutch and electric motor) is positioned between the combustion engine (presumably a V6 unit) and the transmission, while the battery pack will be located in the luggage compartment. The parallel hybrid system will allow the Panamera to operate with the gasoline engine, the electric motor or a combination of both.
