RDX RaceDesign Peugoet 207

German tuners RDX Racedesign have designed a new package for the Peugeot 207 and 207 CC. Although each part is sold separately, the full kit can be obtained for €590.

Shown in black with dark grey wheels, the packages consists of a front spoiler, headlight blends, side skirts, roof spoiler, and rear apron. Sideskirts fit on all models, and the rear apron accommodates single- and dual-sided exhaust. When all is said and done, the 207 gets a fresh look from the additions.



Each part is constructed from PU-ABS plastic, with all parts approved by the TÜV control board in Germany. RDX covers each part under a two-year warranty. The bodykit for the Peugeot 207 and 207 CC should be available from the RDX Racedesign webshop soon.

New Peugeot 207 Economique with Aero Tweaks and Engine Mods

First shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the Economique is based on the recently facelifted 207 hatchback. The car is equipped by a 1.6-liter HDI diesel with 90HP that benefits from specially developed engine management software and the addition of an EGR heat exchanger to cool the re-injected exhaust gases.

Peugeot also fitted the Economique with a modified five-speed manual gearbox with a higher final drive ratio than the standard 207 hatchback while the supermini rides on low resistance Michelin 185/65R15 VLRR (Very low rolling resistance) tires.



Furthermore, Peugeot's engineers lowered the ride height by 5mm and added a special aerodynamic package that consists of a new lower bumper trim and deeper side extensions, optimized air intakes, under tray covers and special wheel trims plus a two-part rear spoiler. As a result, the 207 Economique has a drag coefficient of only 0.274, compared to the standard 207 HDi 90 hatchback of 0.30.

The French automaker claims that the 207 Economique returns an average fuel consumption of just 74.2mpg UK (61.8mpg US or 3.8lt/100km) with C02 emissions of 99g/km.

Peugeot 207 Le Mans Series Special Edition

Recently, Peugeot has released the special edition version of the Peugeot 207 to honor the diesel powered 908 HDi FAP Le Mans race car after it secure the top three positions in qualifying for the 24 hours Le Mans endurance race.

This car is powered by three engine types, starting with the 110 hp 1.6 HDi 16V DPFS and 150 hp 1.6 HPT 16V engines receiving a chrome-plated single exhaust pipe while the top of the range is the 175 hp 1.6 HPT 16V engine receiving a chrome-plated dual exhaust pipe.

A sport front bumper with Shadow aluminium grille and Black Chrome headlights with AFS, body colored side moldings, bumpers strips and sideview mirror housings, decorative racing stripe along the bonnet, roof, and rear spoiler and a Peugeot logo on the doors and Le Mans logos on the liftgate features the Peugeot 207 Le Mans Series special edition.

The car is also getting special multispoke 17-inch Pitlane aluminium wheels and available in two colors, Banquise White and Obsidien Black. Only 2000 units of the Peugeot 207 Le Mans Series special edition.

For the interior of the 207, it features front and rear bucket seats, RC front and rear mat covers, aluminum gearshift lever knob, pedal assembly, foot rest and door sill. The steering wheel is getting an aluminum numbered from 1 to 2000 plaque.
