The performance data of the six litre V12 Bi-Turbo is impressive. The high-performance aggregate with a motor management optimisation patented by Carlsson renders 753 hp (554 kW) and allows fast acceleration as well as smooth travels at lower speeds. Also responsible for the perfect performance evolvement is the elaborately developed stainless steel exhaust system with ends in four edgy pipes at the back. The power catapults the C25 with a torque of 1320 Newton metres at 3750 r.p.m. which is electronically limited to 1,150 Newton metres from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 352 km/h.

Carlsson CK63 RS based on Mercedes Benz E63 AMG

Carlsson a well known tuner for Mercedes Benz is again production powerful version of the new E-Class saloon, the E63 AMG. The German tuner's treatment brings power up from 525HP to 584HP and peak torque from 630Nm to 695Nm (512 lb-ft). The higher performance figures for the 6.3-liter V8 were achieved through a reprogrammed ECU, a sport exhaust system and various other upgrades.

The extra power allows the E63 AMG which Carlsson renamed to CK63 RS, accelerated from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds, or three tenths of a second faster than the factory model.

Carlsson also added a few aero parts into the mix like the modified front apron, new side skirts and a rear apron that houses a carbon-fiber diffuser. The company claims that the bodykit helps increase downforce at high speeds. The kit is complemented by a set of 20-inch bi-color 1/5 REVO alloy wheels.

Depending on how much you're willing to spend on the CK63 RS, Carlsson can also dress the entire cabin with special leathers while other highlights include the aluminium trim options and the illuminated floor mats.

Carlsson Previews CK50 E 500 E-classe Coupe

German tuner Carlsson has released details previewing its tuning package for the Mercedes E 500 E-Class Coupe (C 207).

The CK50, as Carlsson has branded it, comes with an increase in power over the production model, with output dialed up to 435 hp and 600 Nm of torque. 11 of those extra horses come courtesy of the stainless steel sport exhaust silencer, with dual oval pipes, that also provides for a more robust sound.

To help handle those extra 47 horses (from the standard model's 388hp) is a coilover suspension with damping and height adjusting that can lower the car up to 30mm. Carlsson also offers its 1/5 REVO 20-inch light alloy wheels which come in a dual-tone finish.

The aerodynamic kit is rather spare, featuring only a front and rear spoiler. An optional RS front lip is also available.

For the interior Carlsson adds a few touches to mark its presence. These include gearshift and steering wheel covers offered in a leather/ultra-suede combo, aluminum covers for the pedals and illuminated floor mats with the Carlsson badge.

Carlsson based C63 AMG CK63S

Carlsson has released new body styling and tuning package based on the C63 AMG and name it as CK63S. Some modifications however, were made to ensure the two cars were quite different in looks and performance.

Performance wise, the 6.2-litre AMG V8 able to squeez out 565hp (416kW) and 685Nm of torque from it. The stock vehicle makes use of "only" 457hp (336kW) and 600Nm. Now the car able to accelerate from 0 - 100km/h in 3.8 seconds and the speedometer runs out of breath at a limited 300km/h (186mph).

The aerodynamic kit placed on the exterior is listed as: front and rear spoiler and spoiler lip, oval stainless steel tailpipes, a sports rear silencer and lightweight wheels. Occupants experience the ultra-suede material on the doors and on the sides of the seats. The driver meanwhile gets to play with aluminium pedals and a sports steering wheel covered in either leather or ultra-suede.

The CK63S was intended as a car of two personalities; a family cruiser that can take up to five adults or a sharp handling tool for track days. Ex-racing driver Ellen Lohr who also works as a Carlsson brand ambassador was involved in developing the latter character so Carlsson was pretty confident it would deliver the goods.
